At the end of 2009 I got to experience my first hospital stay and first IV, CT scan and other interesting tummy-turning fun times. My appendix ruptured and no matter how much visualization and healing energy I worked, I ended up taking myself to the emergency room at about 1am.
My appendix had ruptured, and the doctor said if I had waited until morning to go to the hospital (as was my plan) I wouldn't still be around. Sooo.... I've learned that even though I don't trust much of modern medicine and feel a holistic approach is best, there are times that modern medicine excels, specifically for trauma and diagnosis... though actual treatment by conventional means is usually best in conjunction with complimentary holistic approaches such as diet and nutrition, massage, aromatherapy, acupuncture, etc.
I have finally caught up on much of the work that became back-logged from the hospital stay, recovery, and extra hours at work (no insurance and $20,000 hospital bill now... darn our health care system).
Now that I've had a chance to catch my breath, my focus is back on PaganPath.com!
- You will notice the layout of the site changing considerably. I'm trying to speed up the whole site so you don't have to wait so long to find what you need. The color scheme, menus, and much more will be getting mixed up on you but don't worry, if it says paganpath.com at the top of the page you are in the right place.
- We've obtained a secure server! The PaganPath Gift Shop is coming back and is on a secure server at with a signed certificate at MysticSynergy.com so your privacy is better protected. You will see the link to the shop coming soon.
- The Witchcraft, Tarot and Herbalism classes are coming back. The original three complete courses will soon be available again on PaganPath.com. However new courses, advanced training, workshops and one-on-one teaching will later become available through ArcaneAcademy.com in late 2010.
I've cleared my schedule to have a solid 4 days a week to work on the site, plus a few hours on the remaining 3 days each week after work. That gives me a solid 60+ hours of time each week just for PaganPath. Changes will appear seemingly slowly at first, but as the layout and template work is finalized it will appear to change rapidly so hold on tight and enjoy the wild broomstick ride with us!
